This task assessed the importance of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) by International Customer Nations. What are the priorities, ambitions, and national targets? What is the strategic ambition of ESG and do these targets and requirements feed into procurement procedures and processes for a specific market?
Outcomes
Identification of global trends, drivers, and challenges in ESG adoption. Analysis of 22 markets to compare against the UK position, ranking them across multiple ESG characteristics. The analysis covered both civil and defence ESG developments in these markets.
Impact
Our report was utilised widely across industry supporting and advising bid and tender activity in certain markets. It provided useful analysis for domestic investment from industry in ESG and supported business cases across the DGP members.
