The Indian Ministry of Defence visits the UKDSC

The UK Defence Solutions Centre hosted international delegates from the Defence Headquarters Training Institute (DHTI) of the Indian Ministry of Defence on 2 August, 2017.

During the 2 hour visit, the UKDSC team presented its strategy; focusing on UK capability development, how to create the right conditions for industrial co-investment and highlighted the strong relationships that the UK and India have. A Q&A session then allowed visitors to exchange ideas about how a joint commitment from government and industry to work collaboratively can deliver growth through innovative and tailored solutions for customers around the globe.

Sir Brian Burridge, UKDSC Chairman said:

“We were delighted to host the Indian Defence Headquarters Training Institute at the UK Defence Solutions Centre. We valued their interest and engagement in the UKDSC’s work and particularly the lively discussion that allowed our presentations.   India is a key strategic partner for the United Kingdom and we look forward to working closely with them the UK Governments to fulfil the joint vision on collaboration outlined by our respective Prime Ministers after their summit meeting in November last year.”

The UKDSC thanks the Indian DHTI for their visit.
