The UKDSC were hosted by Leonardo at its helicopter site, where we were impressed by the passion and enthusiasm of the team based at Yeovil. Clive Higgins, Director Government Affairs, showed our team the impressive capabilities and skills developed over a hundred years of design and manufacture at this Somerset based site. Some of the UKDSC team were able to see first-hand, the advanced capabilities of the AW101 as they took a flight with Leonardo Test Pilots, Mark Burnand and Lee Evans.
