Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to announce that Dr Glenn Kelly will join the UKDSC as Executive Director – International Markets, Prosperity & Innovation on Tuesday 4th January 2022 on secondment from Rolls-Royce. Glenn will report to me and will also join the UKDSC executive leadership team.
Glenn has worked across Government and Industry for over 20 years. Throughout this time, Glenn has held a number of key roles across Ministry of Defence, Department for Business, Department of International Trade and Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Before joining Rolls-Royce in 2016 as the Vice President for Customer Business in India, Glenn’s last government role was at the British High Commission New Delhi as the Head of the UKTI Defence and Security Organisation (India), supporting UK companies looking to export to and from industrial partnerships in India. Glenn has been Rolls-Royce’s Head of UK Government Relations – Defence since 2018.
Glenn has a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Birmingham University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Imperial College London and an honours degree in Astrophysics from Sussex University.
I am sure you will join me in welcoming Glenn to the organisation when he formally takes up his new role.
