Earlier in the year, the UK Secretary of State for Defence announced the Government’s intent to develop a UK Combat Air Strategy and publish the findings in the summer. Since then, the strategy has drawn on expertise from across the defence sector and beyond including academia, think tanks, strategic advisers, industry and the UK Defence Solutions Centre (UKDSC). UKDSC is proud to have played a role in helping shape this strategy. Importantly, the strategy confirms the UK’s intention to remain at the cutting edge of combat air system development to protect its people, preserve its sovereign capability, project its influence and promote its prosperity. UKDSC looks forward to further engagement in the future.
Facilitating closer collaboration with customers, collaboration partners and industry, the UKDSC looks out across a 15-year horizon.
