Pacific Future Forum

The Pacific Future Forum is a key international event, held in partnership between HM Government and the Royal Navy, which took place between 20-21st October on the HMS Prince of Wales. This event sees senior leaders and decision makers from around the world brought together to debate and discuss the greatest challenges of the day. This year’s event saw around 200 delegates attend the event in person, with hundreds of delegates attending virtually from around the world, including delegates from the UK Defence Solutions Centre.

This year was the first Pacific Future Forum, following previous successful Atlantic Future Forums. This change was as a result of the Indo-Pacific tilt, as outlined in the recently published Integrated Review. Discussions were thought-provoking and insightful, with speakers of note including The First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, Chief of Defence Staff, General Sir Nick Carter and Commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command, Admiral John C Aquilino.
