The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition will take place at the Washington Convention Centre in Washington DC over the period 3-5 October 2016. This annual event is one of the largest military expositions and professional development forums in the world with over 38,000 attendees participating each year, including senior figures from the military, Department of Defense, Congress and senior foreign dignitaries.
The British Embassy-Washington DC, Department for International Trade and ADS will be offering a number of ways to engage with potential DoD customers during the AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition.

On Wednesday 5th October we will be hosting a closed door seminar and technology showcase focusing on:
- Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), with a focus on smaller (Class 1) platforms. Counter-UAS and the use of technologies that detect, track and mitigate the threat to personnel & materiel from enemy combatant use of small unmanned systems.
- ISR technologies, including UAS sensor packages (payloads) and battlefield communications
Relevant subject matter experts from both US DoD and UK MoD will present briefings on their areas of interest, and future requirements, to an audience of US Military personnel (US Army and US Marine Corps etc), UK MoD, British Army and UK/US Industry.
This exclusive event will also provide a limited number of UK companies with the opportunity to network with US DoD personnel during breaks.
