Lockheed Martin Visits UKDSC

The UK Defence Solution Centre (UKDSC) welcomed Peter Ruddock – Chief Executive of Lockheed Martin UK (LMUK) to Farnborough on Tuesday 16th October. The visit comprised an update of the UKDSC’s latest Market Intelligence and Capability Analysis followed by an overview of the Innovation and Collaborative Environment (ICE) lab. Peter saw first-hand the work contributed, and value added, by LMUK’s secondees since the UKDSC was established three years ago. His visit culminated with a round table with the UKDSC’s leadership team where current projects as well as opportunities for greater Defence Growth Partnership (DGP) collaboration were discussed.

The trip was a very worthwhile investment by LMUK with Peter remarking that the trip allowed him to ‘witness first-hand the approach, product and progress being made’ and that ‘the analysis and work was impressive’ with the trip ‘exceeding his expectations’. The UKDSC looks forward to welcoming and hosting further members of LMUK’s senior leadership team in the coming months.
