DGP Innovation Challenges 1 and 2 Networking Event

The UKDSC hosted a Networking event for all the winning organisations from the recent themed competitions supporting DGP Innovation Challenges 1 and 2 (Persistent Surveillance from the Air, and Agile, Immersive Mission Training) on the 3rd December 2015, in Central London At the event the winners had the opportunity to meet the other winning organisations from the competitions.

The aim of the event was to encourage networking between winners and was  supported by Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) and Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE).  Organisations had the opportunity to promote their projects, and to identify common areas of interest with other winners to identify potential collaborations.

The event also provided an opportunity for organisations to better understand the role of UKDSC and understand the support offered by UKDSC in taking their technology through to commercial exploitation.

This was the first of two events to support the winners preparing, not only for their phase-2 proposal, but also their participation in the CDE marketplace event, maximising their potential for success.
